Z-VIEW: Ben Johnston bought the former ‘Champ’ affiliated series in ’08 blames bad economy for hiatus. Drivers rent rides for $495k, 12-races. Week ago Johnson indicated all's well. Only now are they developing 'new ideas' and lowering costs. Seems more like bad management, than bad economy?

Z-VIEW: Supremes’ won’t consider even ‘hearing’ case for sometime, let alone adjudicate. NASCAR won’t contemplate Cup date until suit is dropped. Well orchestrated delay would leave Burton Smith little option but to ‘deal’ if Kentucky is to 'conceivably' get a date within 5-years.

Z-VIEW: Literally 'unwelcome person'. That's Nelson Piquet Jr. in Euro racing circles after "Singapore-gate", then turned 'rato' to save his own 'burro'. He does have money though, helloooo NASCAR! He’ll run some Truck, and ARCA races, but drivers' aren't warming however. Wonder why.

Z-VIEW: ARCA debut yielded big-ratings, as did the 1st Nationwide race. Next came Fontana, ratings high but less than Daytona, then Vegas, less than Fontana. Audience overwhelmingly “curious” Cup fans, not new fans as been hyped. Good for TV, but not sustainable for the series.
