Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 11:14 AM EDT
Z-VIEW: When Red Bull is considering accepting sponsorship for its teams, including its F1 effort, you know times are tough. When sponsors want 'logo' TV time, but ratings are down, you know times are tough. It's solution time, and not just 'this too shall pass'.

Monday, May 31st, 2010 08:31 AM EDT
Z-VIEW: Although an EGR, Earnhardt-Childress engine consortium partner no racecars compete under the DEI banner, but it remains NASCAR's most famous shop. Jeff Steiner, hired to reinvent the Co. has a few ideas. NASCAR needing an incubator to help teams is but one idea.

Sunday, May 30th, 2010 10:01 AM EDT

Friday, May 28th, 2010 09:34 AM EDT
Z-VIEW: Something's screwy. Last week the private, Monticello Motor Club in upstate New York announced it was bidding on a race. Then mere days later Bernie stated the race was scheduled for Austin. Which means, Bernie knew the answer long before the Monticello announcement. Wassup?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010 04:10 PM EDT
Z-VIEW: Losing young men not NASCAR's fault per se, it's the networks. SPEED's 'youth answer' is the stooge Rutledge Wood; then there's old guys, if not talking about golf outings or the old days, are kissing ass. Broadcasts simply cater to AARP crowd.
