Z-VIEW: There was little flash, not even pomp and circumstance, it was as Jr. Johnson stated, humbling. SPEED's broadcast was not over produced, and the absence of gratuitous 'sponsor' plugs was refreshing. But more than anything the ceremony confirmed the sport's roots are clearly southern.
