Z-VIEW: Months ago a memo circulated GM's marketing dept., henceforth no more referencing the brand as 'Chevy', it's Chevrolet. Now, O'Reilly Auto Parts, having paid $mms for naming rights, wants ORP not to use the acronym in marketing or media efforts, use O'Reilly Raceway Park.

Z-VIEW: Houston and Detroit among nine where local ABC affiliates opted to broadcast "pre-season" football over NASCAR, not good. But Richmond VA, that's really not good. NASCAR has yet to comment but rest assured they're speaking with broadcast executives, and troubled sponsors this morning.
