Z-VIEW: Aggressively hyped by PRI, included 'industry big-names', now it seems Motor Sport Business Forum not returning to 2010 PRI. $1,200 tix didn't fly, nor did projected sponsorship materialize. Just because you run a 'biz show' doesn't mean you understand economics and market conditions.

Z-VIEW: The web will become a lot less interesting to consumers, within five years global internet consumption on mobile devices will surpass PC activity. No need for 'flashy' webpages, spinning logos, high-end design, all replaced with simplicity, easy access. Motorsports marketers will need two-prong strategy.

Z-VIEW: IMS reaps nearly $10mm in TV revenue from the 400 allowing ticket sales, sponsorships, corporate hospitality, concession to hit the bottom line. However, declines in tix revenue, concessions, parking and ancillary revenue have dropped nearly $20mm, funds that historically subsidized the IRL's existence.
