NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTMotorsports Search Engine Reaches Milestone
Boston, MA. (December 31, 2008) - The only search engine dedicated exclusively to professional and amateur motorsport race teams celebrates a three month, successful milestone. Yabutz (www.yabutz.com) officially launched September 22, 2008 is a search engine that makes it easy for those involved with high-performance racing to quickly find whatever they need, whenever they need it, regardless of the series or vehicle type raced – four wheels or two. Yabutz' index consists of over 3,000 worldwide companies that supply the high-performance racing industry. From manufacturers to sanctioning bodies related to stock car, open wheel, motorcycle, drifting, off-road, oval, road course, drag strip – Yabutz is comprehensive and its end-user base of racers and team procurement staffs is growing exponentially. According to Andrew Kaplan, Yabutz' lead outside marketing advisor, “The Internet noise as it’s called, the myriad of websites dotting the landscape, makes it difficult at times to present your message, to find an audience that understands what it is you’re trying to accomplish. In no time, however, Yabutz has become the go-to destination site for the industry. Our audience understands the message, which is, if you’re searching for race related items don’t Google, Yabutz.” Kaplan added, “Earlier this month we were walking the PRI show floor, few didn’t know what a Yabutz was, that’s quite an accomplishment in just ninety days for an industry as diverse and widespread as motorsports. Clearly the industry likes what it sees. In fact, 83% of Yabutz users return a minimum of three times a week in search of something related to racing…parts, know-how or simply to connect with industry suppliers for new ideas.” Michael Hubbard works directly with Yabutz’ creative staff, these are the folks responsible for creating the services for Yabutz users. “My job is to refine the creative ideas, then convey those ideas to the development staff – sometimes it’s like flying an airplane as it’s being built, but fun nonetheless.” Adding, “…of the ten or so services we’ve launched on Yabutz only one of every five ideas have made it on Yabutz. That’s over fifty ideas that have been developed and tested but never go-live. Other than a few transparent tweaks to those services launched, all have been accepted by the market. With more useful tools planned for 2009 for both end-users and listing companies alike there’s no rest for the weary.” About Yabutz Media Contact: Yabutz Communications yabutz.com.
